Here is a document I created to develop my understanding of all the research and planning I've previously done, during the production of my Thriller Opening in AS. I created this document in order to highlight the key steps I undertook in my research and planning which helped structure and organise my coursework. In AS I researched Animatics, Conventions, Shooting schedules and various media terms; this is extremely beneficial as I've outlined the areas which I have had experience in, which will definitely help me progress through my A2 Music Video coursework. It also shows what areas overlap in Media for example film and music videos both have their own conventions, both need Animatics and both need a shooting schedule. Research and planning impacted my final product last year as it helped me to develop my knowledge and understanding in various areas of Media and what I have to include; Similarly, research and planning this year will help me to develop my knowledge and understanding of Music Videos and help me progress.
